Pantalone, Pulcinella, Colombina, Gianduia <br>

sono le tipiche maschere italiane, sono personaggi del teatro popolare,

del 600 e del 700.<br>

Nascono dal teatro della strada, non hanno un carattere ben

preciso, recitano<br>

storie sempre uguali ma divertenti di litigi fra padri e figli, di

servi a volte molto<br>

furbi e di amori spesso impossibili. </font></p>

Origine</b> Nasce in uno dei quartieri poveri di Bergamo.<br>

<b>Carattere</b> Sciocco e credulone, codardo e

superstizioso, scaltro, <br>

avido e sempre in mezzo ai guai imprevedibile.<br>

<b>Costume</b> I pantaloni sono aderenti e la giacca è

sfiancata con toppe multicolori. Il cappello di feltro è

piccolo e rotondo, rialzato da un lato, con un codino di

coniglio o di lepre in ricordo di un passato di cacciatore.<br>

Le scarpe sono aderenti ai piedi e senza tacco. Indossa una

cintura nera alla quale è attaccato il «batocio» e una

«scarsella», piccola borsa dove tiene pane, sold e la

lettera del padrone che deve recapitare...</font></p>

Maschera</b> È in cuoio nero con delle vistose sporgenze

semicircolari in <br>

corrispondenza degli occhi. Le mascelle, molto accentuate,<br>

ricordano quelle dei diavoli goffi che affollavano le
